Cordyline australis 'Red Sensation'This is a palm like, sub tropical plant that has a wonderful 'spiky' texture for that accent you need in your garden. For its first couple of years, the plant will grow like a flare of broad red leaves, giving the appearance of a grass, but will eventually branch, producing several heads. The plant can be allowed to grow up to a tree like structure, or can be pruned to stay like a grass. Hardy to around 15 degrees F.
