Burton McMahon George's Vineyard Chardonnay 2021"These 2021's are very very good, such piercing aromatics of peach and flint with the faintest thread of vanillin influence. Lovely concentration on the palate, with good tension held by mineral lines of acidity. Fruit comes in the way of new season nectarine that is set against precise lemon; time in barrel has given weight and spice however it doesn't detract from the quality of fruit. The finish is long and complex with mealy top notes. Rating: 96
