Chateau Trianon Grand Cru St Emilion 2014Producing a sublimely silky, plush, sensual wine, the Trianon property comprises 10 hectares on soils of clay, sand and iron trace red stone. The vines average age is 35 years and the blend is 85% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% very old vine Carmenre (which really makes a wonderful contribution!). All picking is by hand, vinification is in stainless steel vats and, after malolactic in barrel, the wine is matured in 60% new oak
