Alice Oakleaf HydrangeaAlice' is grown for its large, cone shaped white flowers which emerge in May, retaining their white color for 6 weeks or more, then slowly fade to a warm khaki color as summer ends. Introduced by Michael Dirr and named for his wife, 'Alice' has extra clean foliage in warm weather, then turns an extra nice burgundy fall color. Foliage is deep green in warm weather, turning attractive reddish bronze in fall before dropping for winter.
