The nose is intensely violet scented, with smouldering toasty oak in the background. This is a young, tight wine at present, but the excellent fruit concentration tells you this wine has much to give. The palate is already silky, with lovely freshness and balance. The fruit is spicy and blackcurranty, with a dark, bitter chocolate finish.
