TOKYO JAZZ JOINTS"Tokyo Jazz Joints" is a project by Northern Irish photographer Philip Arneil. The project title, which incorporates the slang word "Joint" for shop, began in Tokyo and traveled across Japan over the course of three years to document beloved jazz cafes and jazz bars. Places visited included renowned establishments such as Iwate's BASIE, Kyoto's jazz spot YAMATOYA, Tokyo's jazz cafes Eagle and Erect Saruman, and Kanagawa's Downbeat. These spaces, where
