Jazz Fest 19771977 Kathleen Joffrion Third in the series by Kathleen Joffrion. This was the first poster to employ the "cut paper" technique to achieve bold flat areas of color. The poster celebrates the jazz ensemble in its heyday of the 1930's. The popularity of the three year old project led to a substantial increase in the number of numbered, unsigned posters produced but the edition still sold out prior to the Festival's conclusion.
