10-19: Systematic Approach To Performing, Documenting And Reporting InspectionsA systematic approach is applied to the inspection of field erected cooling towers. Procedures for inspecting structural, mechanical, and performance characteristics are investigated with an emphasis on identifying common failures and deficiencies. The distinction between counter flow and cross flow cooling tower inspections is examined. In conclusion, a method is outlined for documenting inspection results and the reporting process.
